When my father retired 2 years ago, he still had my 2 younger sisters to put through university. On top of that, he was also financially supporting my mother’s social work ministry in our local community.

But soon after retirement, he was blessed with a consultancy position which helped support not only the family’s expenses, but also sustained my mother’s ministry. However, when my father’s consultancy position ended, he began to worry about finances as his pension was too little to keep sustaining all our expenses.

Despite the difficulties, we continued to believe Jesus for His provision and blessing on the family, and encouraged our father to believe in the Word of God instead of looking at the dismal situation. A few months later, he received an offer to take up the role of director in a well-known non-government organization operating in Ethiopia.

My Father in heaven provided for my father here on earth! Through His provision, not only have my sisters and the families under my mother’s ministry been blessed, but my father has also grown in his faith. Not only is he blessed with another good job, his faith and joy in the Lord have increased and praise is constantly on his lips.

I want to thank God for Pastor Prince’s teachings on holding onto grace and God’s provision.  They have certainly helped me to pray, declare, and motivate my father in believing that because of God’s love for us, good will always come to our family. Amen!
