Freed from Bulimia After Focusing on Jesus
Since I was 18, I suffered from bulimia. Every day, I would regurgitate my food. I became very thin, pale, and my back teeth started to crumble. Every time I looked in the mirror, I saw myself as fat.
I tried to stop vomiting through self-effort, but I kept failing. God didn’t need my help. When I first heard Joseph Prince preaching about grace, I was amazed. There was hope! All I had to do was to believe I was healed because Jesus Christ died such a gruesome death for me.
I began to believe right about His superabounding grace and started to focus on Jesus instead of myself. Slowly but surely, the hold that bulimia had on me faded away until it was completely gone. My beautiful Lord taught me how to eat and how to receive His love.
