For ten years, I was in bondage to an emotionally codependent relationship with someone who said he loved me yet cheated, lied, conned, and manipulated me. I gave thousands of dollars to this person to try to help him. I even compromised myself and my walk with the Lord in every way because of him.

Due to the condemnation I received from being in this relationship, I developed gastritis, insomnia, and depression. But thanks be to God, through Pastor Joseph Prince’s teachings on grace, I have finally been delivered from this destructive relationship.

I now believe that I am the righteousness of God in Christ, that Jesus loves me, and that I still have a bright and blessed future. My codependency on this person’s attention and abuse is gone. I don’t need it anymore to make me feel loved as I now draw from Jesus’ love for me.

I’m so grateful to God for showing me Joseph Prince on television over five years ago. It’s been a long painful struggle for me but thank You, Jesus, for caring for me and setting me free from this horrible bondage that crippled my life for a decade. I have peace and joy again in my heart and it feels so wonderful. Praise You, Jesus!
