I had always believed I was cursed—whenever I was close to getting something that mattered to me, I would fail, time and again. Nothing seemed to change even after I became a believer and I became very angry and frustrated. This greatly affected my relationships and business.

However, by the grace of God, I never lost hope. While driving early one morning, I heard Pastor Prince’s message on Galatians 3:13. He shared how Christ had redeemed me from the curse of the law when He hung at the cross, for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree.”

As such, I realized that Jesus’ sacrifice not only gave me eternal salvation, but also redeemed me from every curse and broke every chain in my life. This revelation freed me from years of anger and frustration, and I felt the great love of God.

Today, I know I am not cursed, but blessed and righteous in Christ through faith. I also go to church with a willing and expectant heart, instead of trying to impress my fiancé. I’m excited to learn more about the grace of God and help others experience the freedom that I’ve found in Christ.
