Friend Transformed by the Power of the Gospel While in Prison

Pastor Prince, it has been 10 years since God led me to you and your teaching of grace.

I finished reading Destined to Reign after slamming it shut quite a few times. Each time, I knew I had to pick it back up! It took a while to get through the book, but the last page ended with the Lord and me saying this together: “THIS is the good news of Jesus Christ. THIS is Christianity!”

That brought a determination to get the book into the jails and prisons, something I had tried to do before but had found impossible. I had to be clever. In one prison, they could receive books in the mail if they were new and sent directly from the company. I have an old boyfriend who was doing 15 years, and I had a new book sent to him, with the understanding that whether he read it or not, it should be circulated. He did read it and was changed!

What you should know is that the whole time he had been locked up, there was a guy there who had helped to get him busted, and my friend hated this guy badly! Long story short, that was the first guy he walked up to and shared Destined to Reign with! They became friends, and together, they’ve circulated this book and message.

There are more testimonies regarding several local jails, but I am determined to keep this short. Thank you, Pastor Prince!
