Grace Supplies For Groceries And Mortgage Payments

The message of grace has so revolutionized my life. I am resting each day in the finished work of Jesus at the cross.

I am in ministry and we had some financial troubles that worried me. I read in the Gospel Revolution newsletter about how the law demands and grace supplies. So I trusted God.

We have a family of six and we had no money yesterday to buy groceries. I was also three months’ behind on my mortgage payments. I got a letter from the mortgage company and it stated that it wanted US$2,781 by 7 March 2012 or else it would proceed with the foreclosure process.

That brought fear, but then I heard the Lord remind me of Psalm 112, which says that “the righteous has no fear of bad news”. So I trusted in God’s promise to me.

Well, praise the Lord! Someone called us out of the blue and said that they wanted to buy us groceries. And that’s not all! I went to see my accountant that afternoon after I received the letter and had my taxes brought down. I found out that I was getting back US$7,000 on my tax return and I was amazed.

God blessed us with more than enough. Now, I will not only be able to catch up with my mortgage payments, but also pay ahead. God is so good. HE is my supply!
