Son And Family Unhurt In Bad Car Accident

In July this year, my son and his young family were involved in a severe automobile accident.

He had stopped at the traffic light when a full-size sports utility vehicle (SUV) hit the back of his car. The impact pushed them into the back end of a commercial truck carrying welding gas. It caused both vehicles to be totalled and the airbags in both vehicles to be released. Yet, everyone involved in the accident came out of it without even a scratch.

God definitely showed His favor, grace and protection throughout the whole time. He even positioned my wife and me to be nearby my son right after the accident occurred. We were supposed to be on our way out to get groceries but were delayed at home, as we had to deal with a bag of yard waste that had broken open. We then went to buy coffee at a local coffee house and stepped into the Christian bookstore next to the coffee house. It was in the Christian bookstore that my son called and told us about the accident. We were only a mile away then.

My son was also paid more than expected for his car. As his car was beyond repair, the insurance company of the SUV owner had to reimburse him for the value of his car. When I looked up various websites on used car book values on the Internet, my son’s car was only worth $1,900 based on its age and mileage. However, the insurance company gave him $3,400! Praise the Lord!

We have just returned from seeing Pastor Prince preach in Newark during his recent Power Of Right Believing Tour. It was such a moving service and we could tell that the Holy Spirit was present in the arena. Like us, the people whom we met while waiting for the doors to open all had the same thing to say about Pastor Prince—his life-changing message of grace. Hallelujah! All glory to Jesus!
