For two years, I suffered severe depression, anxiety, and insomnia. Going to psychologists, general practitioners, and psychiatrists didn’t help and I had to rely on sleeping pills, antidepressants, and anti-anxiety tablets.

While walking past a bookstore one day, Pastor Prince’s book, The Power of Right Believing, caught my attention. When I read the words “chronic depression” on its back cover, I knew the book dealt with one of the problems that I had and decided to get it.

I started on the book immediately when I got home. To my astonishment, it was completely different from all the faith-based books I’d read before. Pastor Prince addressed my depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness as though he knew me personally. Each and every page also said something profound about my struggles.

I kept on reading and have never looked back since. It has opened my eyes to the love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I’ve also prayed the prayer on page 146 that says:

Thank You, Jesus, for loving me. Today I receive Your complete forgiveness in my life, and I forgive myself for all my sins, mistakes, and failings. I release them all into Your loving hands. I declare that in You, I am completely forgiven, free, accepted, favored, righteous, blessed, and healed from every sickness and disease. Amen!

Today, I am completely healed and I can even fall asleep without sleeping pills. Praise the name of Jesus!
