I grew up in a Christian family and got saved and water baptized as a young child. By the age of 13, I was speaking in tongues and was told that God had a purpose for my life. However, my family and the churches I went to did not believe in eternal security.

Because of this, I grew up thinking I had to perform perfectly in order for God to love me and be proud of me. When I turned 17 and became associated with non-believers in my job, I decided that nothing I did would ever be good enough to please God and get me into heaven. So I renounced my faith.

I began dating a much older man who introduced me to cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, and fornication. My life went on a downward spiral. By the age of 21, I was living with the guilt from having had an abortion and I was a full-blown addict. I had also given up any hope of a college education, and I was moving from house to house with nowhere to call home.

One day, I cried out to God to save me from the destructive path I was on, and He did. All around me, God began shutting doors to that lifestyle, and I suddenly had a strong urge to go home to my family. When I got home, I also had a desire to start reading the Bible.

I was reading fine for a while until I came to Hebrews 6. I had always been taught it meant that once you renounced your salvation, you could never get it back. I grew very afraid and before I knew it, I was back to trying to perform for God’s love.

Out of desperation, I began to search the Web for answers and I came across Pastor Prince’s sermon entitled Can You Lose Your Salvation? That sermon completely changed my life!

All my addictions fell off one by one. I have been delivered from drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, and sexual immorality. I developed a strong desire for reading and studying the Word, and I love sharing what I’ve learned with everyone. I’m seeing God open doors for me everywhere and I am looking forward to going to a Bible college soon.

I am so thankful for the ministry that God has given Pastor Prince. It truly has impacted my life in ways I would never have imagined!
