Smooth Pregnancy and Birth After Holding on to God’s Word

I came across Joseph Prince Ministries in mid-2013 via his television broadcast. I was instantly glued as it was like fresh water to a thirsty soul.

Even though I had been a believer for a while, I still had a lot of questions concerning certain doctrines and issues pertaining to the Christian life. All these were answered as I continued to listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons.

At the time, I was single and searching for a job. The Lord showed me Psalm 128, which I held on to as it contained His promises for a job, wife, children, and even grandchildren. I kept confessing the Word, bolstered by the knowledge that I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Sometime later, I got my dream job, and a few months after that, I married my darling wife.

Like every normal couple, we thought we would conceive within the first year of our marriage. But when the first and second years passed, we became concerned. We went for several tests, but the doctors found nothing. The Holy Spirit encouraged us that if He fulfilled the first two promises in Psalm 128 of a job and wife, then He would definitely bring the promise of blessed children to pass too. All we needed to do was rest in Him. So as a couple, we continued to confess God’s Word and receive the Holy Communion.

In July 2020, my wife received a strong revelation while listening to Pastor Prince’s sharing on Psalm 127—that childbearing was part of her inheritance, and she need not strive for it. We also believed that as we partook of Jesus’ broken body and shed blood through the Communion, our baby’s body and blood were being formed.

In one of the online services, Pastor Prince gave a word that a couple who had been believing God for a baby had asked for reassurance concerning conception. We knew the word was for us. He declared that the baby was coming and would be surrounded by God’s favor.

In late August 2020, my wife conceived, and the entire duration of the pregnancy was smooth. On May 25, 2021, our beautiful champion baby was born.

Through it all, the Lord sustained us with His Word. We have since become partners with Joseph Prince Ministries and are excited about what He is doing in our lives and through the ministry.
