I have two rambunctious cats. Some time ago, we discovered bite and scratch wounds on KC Kisses, the larger feline. The smaller cat presumably fought back after being bullied by KC for more than six years.

KC was badly injured and had wounds all over her ears, head and neck, as well as near her shoulder blade area behind the neck. I felt God directing me as to what medicine to use. The wounds looked like they were healing after applying the medicine.

However, KC used her hind feet to scratch the wound on her back till it opened up and started to bleed badly. I didn’t know what else to do but pray. In my mind and heart I said to the Lord, “You have to fix her because I can’t. Veterinarians don’t take payment plans and my cat insurance only covers what is already spent.”

When I got up the next day, the wound on her body was completely healed . I was reminded of the Scripture in Genesis 2:21 that says God “closed up the flesh instead thereof” after He took Adam’s rib to make him a helper.

This showed me firsthand how when we work, God rests, and when we rest, God works. Pastor Joseph Prince speaks about this in his program broadcast online and on television.
