I was severely abused as a child for 15 years, and as a result, I would think of self-harming hundreds of times a day. I have even tried to take my own life on numerous occasions.

I became a Christian nearly 2 decades ago, and I had been praying to be delivered from self-affliction.

A few years back, I watched a sermon by Pastor Prince where he shared about the demon-possessed man who was living in burial caves and cutting himself. But Jesus went to him and cast out his demons.

I felt like I was that man. For 17 years, I was homeless, living in skips, doorways, and caves, and constantly cutting, burning, and trying to destroy myself.

After watching that sermon, I prayed again, and now, 5 years on, I have stopped trying to kill and harm myself. Better than that, I don’t think about it anymore.

I’m so blessed by God. I now have my own home and a great church family. I have begun repairing my relationships with my family members and have also become a writer. I have written a book about my life and am writing a second book on wisdom.

I have learned so much, Pastor Prince, from your teachings, and I’ve grown in Christ exponentially. Jesus Christ is the Lord of my life. Even though I live thousands of miles away, I consider New Creation Church my spiritual home, and I hope to visit you one day. Your teachings are changing lives.
