I had been smoking cigarettes for the past 30 years. I wanted to stop the habit but could not.

One day, as I was watching Pastor Joseph Prince on television, he read a testimony of someone who had stopped smoking by declaring “I am the righteousness of God in Christ.”

I started to confess this whenever I smoked. After some time, I went to a nurse and told her that I would like to stop smoking. She prescribed a tablet called Champix to help treat the nicotine addiction, and she strongly advised me to have it in mind that I really want to stop smoking cigarettes before using the tablets.

I continued declaring that I am the righteousness of God in Christ while simultaneously taking the medication.

In less than 2 months, I stopped smoking and have not smoked a cigarette since!

I give all the glory to God and praise Him for His great love and care.
