In 2001, I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis, a chronic condition characterized by inflammation and bleeding sores in the colon. I have been on medication since that diagnosis and was told I would be on medication for the rest of my life.

I searched the Scriptures for what the Lord says about healing and started speaking those words over myself. In 2018, I heard Pastor Prince on television talking about recognizing what the body and blood of Jesus represent. My husband and I got hold of his book and began partaking of the holy Communion at home.

I had 9 colonoscopies over the years. The one I had in 2019 showed that the ulcerative colitis was in remission, but I would need to keep taking the medication so the sores would not open up again and bleed. The doctor also said I would have scar tissue for the rest of my life.

My doctor retired during the COVID-19 pandemic, but I refused to settle for his word and continued to claim complete restoration in Jesus’ name. I watched Pastor Prince all through the pandemic when we were not allowed to go to church, and I continue to watch him to this day.

Last fall, Pastor Prince called out healings for conditions during a service and mentioned that the Lord was healing intestinal diseases. I claimed it for myself and have continued to thank the Lord for my healing. I had my 10th colonoscopy in February 2023. My new doctor called me a few days later to ask me if I was sure I had been diagnosed correctly in 2001.

He asked about the symptoms I had and what the past colonoscopies had shown. I asked him why he had all these questions, and he said that there was no sign that I ever had ulcerative colitis as there was no scar tissue. Praise the Lord forever more!
