After finishing my studies in 2021, I took on different jobs that neither matched my qualifications nor my giftings and passions.

At the beginning of 2023, when Pastor Prince proclaimed the year to be the Kairos Year of Right Time, Right Place for his church, I sent out many applications. One of them was for a 7-month temporary position in exactly the area where I wanted to work. After a long and intensive interview with the employer, I was finally accepted. I was at peace with the decision, even though, from a logical point of view, I should have taken a permanent position.

I remember asking God to bring me to the right place at the right time because I really believed it would be a kairos year for my job situation. Deep down, I knew God was deeply interested in placing me in a job where I could be a blessing, where my potential could be unfolded, and where I could continue to grow—and with good contractual conditions.

Although the employer said he couldn’t take me on permanently and terminated my contract, God turned everything around. Surprisingly, He opened a door for me: my colleague applied for a higher position, which left her old job vacant, and my boss wanted me in that position. It really was God’s favor and grace that I received my permanent contract right before Christmas in the area of responsibility where I had wanted to work for years! On top of that, the job came with great contractual conditions.

All glory to Jesus, and a huge thank you, Pastor Prince, for preaching the gospel of grace boldly! It has truly turned every area of my life for the better.
