I’m a new mother, and I had a very challenging medical licensing exam to prepare for in the new country I emigrated to. I was overwhelmed with how and where to start. I sent in a prayer request on the Joseph Prince Ministries website, and to encourage my faith, I also read praise reports from other brethren who had received victory in their medical exams.

What followed was a very intense period of exam preparation, and it felt like every day, there were internal and external obstacles to overcome. However, I saw God’s hand of grace upon my life. At different times, He sent family, friends, and colleagues to guide and support me. He gave me favor in finding the right study group members and study materials.

During the exam, I was surprised at how calm I was. I remember not being able to get every question correct (after the exam, you seem to only know all the sections you should have done better in), and I could not confidently say to myself that I did very well. I held on to God’s love for me and continued to declare that I am the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ whenever I thought of the exam.

I also continued to partake of the Holy Communion, and when I partook of the cup, I would also say that my exam mistakes and errors were remitted. I honestly don’t know if that is very theologically correct, but I trusted in God’s love for me.

To my amazement, I passed my exam. I even got a few points above average, which may not sound like much to others, but it is a big deal for me, as I know where I started from. This news has greatly encouraged me and my family. It has given me renewed zeal for the Lord.
