I just wanted to thank you so much for the teaching on tongues. I have been blessed so much by it and I want to share something that happened years ago through praying in tongues—it is in total agreement with what you had shared about the benefits of praying in the Spirit.

At that time, my husband was often drunk and would verbally and physically abuse me whenever he was suspicious of me. I prayed that God would change him or I would have to leave.

I was subsequently prompted to lay my hands on him at night and pray over him in tongues. I did this along with a few other things that God told me to do and change over a period of time. In a rather short time, my husband stopped drinking and never accused or beat me again.

He is not a Christian and he has never been counseled, but God changed him. I will never know what I prayed in tongues but the Holy Spirit knows.
