Over a year ago, I started experiencing dizziness and shaking. One day, while driving, my body began shaking, and I felt so dizzy I had to pull over into a parking lot. My hands were shaking so much that I couldn’t even grab my phone to call 911.

Holding on to the side of my car, I made my way to some guys and asked them to call an ambulance because I felt like I was going to faint. One of them called right away, while the other led me back to my car, told me to sit down, and stayed with me until help arrived.

The first responders arrived in a fire engine. By then, the shaking and dizziness had begun to subside, but they examined me in my car. They checked my glucose, blood pressure, and did an electrocardiogram (EKG) of my heart. Everything was normal except that my blood pressure was a little high. When the ambulance arrived, they asked if I wanted to go to the hospital, but since I was starting to feel better, I decided not to go. I waited a bit longer before driving myself home, praying the entire way.

Once I got home, I went to rest in my room and called my primary doctor to make an appointment for the next day, as the first responders had suggested. The next morning, before my appointment, I woke up feeling the same symptoms. I went to the dining room and told my mom to call 911.

The first responders came again and began the same examinations. Everything was normal, except my blood pressure was still a bit high. They asked if I wanted to go to the hospital. This time, I told them I would call my daughter to take me to the nearest hospital.

At the emergency room, they immediately took me to a room and ran tests. They checked my sugar, blood pressure, and did another EKG. This time, they also did a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scan of my brain and chest. By the time the results came back, I was already feeling better.

The doctor came in and told me that my sugar and EKG were normal, and my blood pressure was still slightly high. However, they saw blood on both sides of my brain near the temples. I was shocked and asked if I was having a stroke. The doctor said they needed to send me by ambulance to a cardiology hospital for more testing.

When I arrived at the hospital, they admitted me and told me they would do another MRI of my brain and a sonogram of my neck. They weren’t sure when the tests could be done, but later that day, I was told an opening had come up, and both tests were done that night.

I began praying. After the tests, I returned to my room. My phone battery was almost dead, but before it shut off, I asked the nurse for a pen so I could write down phone numbers to call my family using the room’s landline. The next morning, I woke up very early and began praying again. Using the same paper and pen, I started quoting scriptures and writing them down. This is what I wrote:

“Jesus, as You are in heaven with no high blood pressure and no blood on Your brain, so am I in this world. By Your stripes I am healed. Jesus, You are my healer and my Redeemer. I am a child of God. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. You are my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust. Amen.”

After that, I turned on the television and searched for Trinity Broadcasting Network, believing a sermon by Pastor Prince would be on. And sure enough, one was airing. I know that was Father God’s doing.

A few hours later, a nurse came in and told me that all the tests done the night before looked good. I said, “Amen.” When the doctor arrived, he said there was no blood on my brain. I said, “Amen,” again. I was discharged the next day, as the doctor wanted to observe me one more day to be sure I was well.

It has now been more than one and a half years since the incident. I thank my Father God, my Abba, for completely healing me. I also thank God for Pastor Joseph Prince’s devotionals and sermons that allow me to keep hearing and hearing the Word of Christ. All glory to God!
