Protected From Being Hit By Flying Car

Recently, I started to meditate on the goodness of God when I heard Pastor Prince's sermon on how we have been crowned with God's favor and protection. He mentioned that the crown is NOT like what most Christians think of—a crown that sits on one's head. Instead, the crown is a shield that surrounds us, covering us from the crown of our heads to the soles of our feet!

I was feeding on what that meant and started seeing myself surrounded by the shield of God's favor and protection whenever I left my apartment. I would also proclaim God's crown of favor and protection over me.

On 23 May 2011, I was on my way to do some mattress shopping. While I was walking up a steep slope, I started to declare that Jesus is my protection and that His crown of favor and protection covers me like a shield. Then, while walking down the slope after reaching the top, as my feet reached the bottom of the slope, I heard cries and a loud crash. I turned back and saw a car on the slope on my right side. Its driver, a woman, was crying and trying to get out of the car. I quickly ran up the slope and pulled her out of the car. She was in shock. Some workmen from the opposite highway ran over and offered help.

I asked one of the workmen what happened since I did not see the accident (as my back was facing the slope). The workman said, "You were walking down the slope and the car flew over you and narrowly missed you! If you were a little slower, the car might have hit you!"

All glory to Jesus for His divine protection!
