Protected from Harm in Serious Car Accident

One day, while we were heading home, my husband and I were miraculously protected from harm in an accident. It was around 5:30 p.m., and traffic had started to build up on the highway as people headed home from work.

At one point, I asked my husband to slow down as he didn’t notice the car in front of us had suddenly braked. He hit the brake pedal, but we lost control of the car and spun around a few times across 2 lanes. We hit the side divider but stopped before we could plunge into the river. Our car stopped after ramming into the divider, facing the flow of traffic.

The first thing I did was to thank the Lord for His divine protection over us. My husband was not injured, and I only had a small bruise on my right knee. We also didn’t collide with any other cars when we lost control of our car as it spun across the 2 lanes. It was definitely my Daddy God who protected us.

I usually listen to Pastor Prince’s sermons when I’m driving, but because my husband is a non-believer and is quite resistant to it, I did not listen to a sermon in the car that day. However, that morning, I had meditated on Psalm 91. Praise and glory be to God. Only He can put us at the right place at the right time, and only He can give us supernatural protection.

I want to encourage other believers to keep hearing the Word of God as it has the power to heal and protect. I am an ordinary believer who just accepted Jesus into my life a few years ago, but the Lord was patient with me throughout all these years, waiting for me to come home. We may still have challenges, but we have a Daddy God who covers our loved ones and us under His wings not because we good but because He is good.
