Shortly after the Lord blessed me with an amazing career, my boss informed me that he was planning on leaving because of stock ownership issues. His leaving would cause the business to dissolve and my boss advised me to contact my recruiter and jump ship before it sank. That night, I cried the whole way as I drove home.

Over the next few months, my boss had me transfer all of his business contacts out of the company system and mark all of his files so he could easily remove them from the building. I can’t convey how final the situation appeared or how resolved he was to leave.

Feeling defeated, I began applying for jobs and going for interviews. Throughout this painful process, I was partaking of the Holy Communion and agreeing with Jesus for His best in the situation. Even though it looked hopeless, I told Him that I would move on to a new company if that was His will. At night, I would sleep holding on to Jeremiah 29:11 as I kept waking up attacked by fear.

At some point, I discovered that the stock ownership conflict had originated because someone greedy was stirring up problems. Once I learned this, something clicked in my mind and I could see the situation for what it was. From that point on, my prayers were tenacious.

I was only going to release my miracle job if it was God Himself moving me. If it was indeed the enemy, no way was I going to let him steal it from me! I partook of the Communion and declared in Jesus’ name that the enemy would not destroy this company. I rebuked the demonic greed fueling all the dissension. I also asked the Lord to release the annual employee bonuses that had not been distributed due to all the chaos.

Confirming my new resolve, Pastor Prince's daily grace inspiration was titled Stay Put, Trust Jesus, and Reap a Hundredfold! And that was exactly what happened!

About a month later, everything completely turned around miraculously. The negotiations changed so completely in my boss’ favor that he took over the business. Not only that, he awarded me a bonus, the exact amount of the sign-on bonus I received when I started with the company. It was a hundredfold, just as Pastor Prince said in that devotional! It was an unequivocal miracle on top of miracle.

Our God is absolutely amazing and He has the final say. No force in hell can destroy the blessings He has for His children!
