Protected from Serious Injury After Falling from Ladder

Since my retirement, I’ve been spending some time fixing problems around the house. One day, I was doing some plaster work on the ceiling when my usually reliable ladder slipped, and I ended up falling backward.

Praise God my head landed comfortably on a big garbage bag filled with plastics bags. Although I had sore muscles and a swollen wrist, nothing was broken. There were things on the floor that could have hurt me badly, but I missed landing on them.

As a family, we have been meditating on Psalm 91 a lot. All I can say is that the Lord’s angels held me up when I fell. I thank the Lord Jesus because He has taken care of me. He is always there for me. And thank you, Pastor Prince, for the constant reminder of how much Jesus loves us.
