Seven years ago, I was in a business I knew I should not have gotten into. I was in so much trouble. Sales were going down, and I had to pay my rent on the 20th of the month. I would hide when the landlord came as I didn’t have the money. I also had employees to pay.

I was working 85 hours a week and feeling so exhausted. I didn’t think I could wake up the next morning because of how tired I was.

My aunt told me to listen to The Power of Right Believing by Joseph Prince. She was the only person who was for me at the time, so I figured I’d listen as I was desperate, and I listened to this message obsessively. It was so freeing to hear about God’s grace and His unconditional love since I was so conscious I had gotten myself into this mess.

Although I had accepted Jesus as my Savior, I had so many wrong beliefs. I thought God was upset with me and that I was a rotten sinner. I didn’t have a relationship with Jesus at the time, but I just kept hearing about His goodness and how precious I am to Him. I learned that God is for me and not against me.

Within 4 months, a miracle happened, and the store was sold. Everyone told me it would not sell, as a store like that usually takes 14 months or more to sell. I was so beyond grateful that God saved me from this, and I had no business debt.

Since then, I have started a new business that only requires 2 hours of work a day. God has also restored way more in my finances. I am continuing to seek Him, as I no longer want to do things by my own efforts, but through His gift of righteousness.
