I am a Filipina residing in Italy. I learned about Joseph Prince in December 2022 through my sister living in the United States. From then on, I have been listening to his sermons on YouTube almost every day.

When I lost my child at 6 weeks of pregnancy in October 2022, my father-in-law told me and my husband that his surname would end with his 3 sons, and that there would be no more male children to carry his surname. It was something he’d heard his sister say.

But as I heard my father-in-law’s words, I thought to myself, Who knows the future better than the Lord Jesus? The Lord will give me children! The speaker of those words spoken over my father-in-law would be put to shame.

One day, as I was listening to Pastor Prince’s sermon about Sarah (the sermon title is “God Has Crowned You with Glory and Honor”), he mentioned that he told his wife, Wendy, “At this time next year, you shall embrace a son.” At that moment, with a burning heart, I also claimed that by next year, I would be carrying my child.

Two months later, I learned that I was pregnant. Though I did not know the gender yet, I believed it was a boy. And praise our Lord Jesus, I gave birth to a healthy baby boy on April 24, 2024.

On that same day, as my husband was about to leave the hospital, he met his aunt, the same aunt who had spoken those words to his father that there would be no more male children to carry their surname. Then he realized that it was a confirmation that the Lord has broken every curse and our family line is no longer defined by what she had said.

After hearing many of Pastor Prince’s sermons, my husband and I believe that our DNA is no longer from our parents but from Jesus Christ. We are a new creation when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, and we carry His DNA and not that of our parents. We thank and praise the Lord for the miracle He has done for us, blessing us with our wonderful son.

Our case is a living testimony that we are redeemed, and nothing can block the blessings of God in our family through our Lord Jesus. Hallelujah! All glory and praise to our Lord Jesus, who redeemed us with His most precious blood. Amen.
