I was unable to continue my tertiary education due to unsettled school fees from the previous year. My father's business back in the Democratic Republic of Congo where we came from was faltering. With seven kids to support, having me complete my education was not a priority.

I was embarrassed and disappointed. I had so many plans for my life and I was depending heavily on getting a degree and then a job to change my family’s financial circumstances.

For years, my family was under legalistic teachings. When I was introduced to Joseph Prince Ministries at the end of 2012, I began to understand more about God’s grace and His love for us. I began to learn how everything is already given to us in Christ’s finished work.

As a family, we pray every night and share the gospel. I’ve learned to rest at Jesus’ feet. Every day, I receive the gift of wisdom and unmerited favor. I choose to speak life over myself, my family and those I care for. I have also received the gift of speaking in tongues.

I want to share how, among the many great blessings I’ve experienced, I got the first job I’d applied for—as an intern geologist at a great firm—without having a degree. The company has also decided to pay my outstanding school fees and I will be returning to complete my studies soon.

God is SO good and I’m so excited about all His blessings that are going to be manifested.
