Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, I was laid off from my job in a restaurant that was all the way across town from where I lived. When this happened, I began to search for a job closer to home and thanked God for what He was going to do in my life.

Within 2 months, I got another job. Not only was this job closer to home, the pay was also higher than what I was receiving at my previous job! I’m also guaranteed a pay raise every 6 months.

Recently, I heard that my old workplace had been sold to pay off debts. I thank God for answering my prayer and protecting me from what I didn’t know at that time.
