When the book Live the Let-Go Life was released, I got each one of my children a copy. Two of them are in college and one is a senior in high school. I didn’t want my children to suffer stress and worry throughout their lives like I did.

My middle child, a daughter, is a high achiever studying a rigorous program at a university in Washington, DC. She worries about assignments and examinations to the point she makes herself ill. I kept encouraging her to read Live the Let-Go Life and take it to heart.

Recently, I received an unexpected text from her, with a photo of her room door at the dorm. She had taped “LET GO” on the door in giant letters, and this is what she told me: “Saw that a college student did this in the Joseph Prince book so I did too. This is the first thing I’ll see walking into my room.”
