The doctors and specialists believed that I had miscarried early in my pregnancy. Before I was given the medication to remove any remaining tissue, the doctor attending to me said, “Let me check for a heartbeat so I don’t lose my license.” She came back with an ultrasound, and to everyone’s shock, I was still pregnant.

A little more than a month later, I faced another frightening situation and found myself in the emergency room. All of the doctors and specialists told me they would have to induce labor for the safety of my life and the possibility of a future pregnancy, because they did not believe my baby would survive. I was exactly 20 weeks pregnant and had been informed that the baby would need to remain in the womb until at least 22 weeks for there to be any hope of viability.

After praying, I felt I could not bring myself to go through with inducing labor. God had already brought our baby so far. So my husband and I agreed to entrust ourselves and this situation to our Lord Jesus Christ, placing our lives and our baby’s life in His hands.

With our families’ tears and prayers, I was immediately placed on strict watch with the nurses since they expected me to go into labor at any moment. We soon found ourselves watching Pastor Joseph Prince’s Live the Let-Go Life series through TBN’s app from my phone in the hospital. The words being spoken greatly ministered to our hearts and minds. They caused such rest that we often drifted off to sleep. Day after day, I would listen to the messages over and over again.

As days turned into weeks, to the amazement of the medical staff, I remained pregnant. At 22 weeks and 1 day, our daughter was born. Four scary months and amazing miracles later, my daughter was discharged from the NICU with only minor oxygen support.

It has now been well over a year, and our daughter is whole, healthy, and breathing with no oxygen support. She is as bossy and feisty as she has always been.

Pastor Prince, we are so grateful to God for your words. I have not heard another pastor who magnifies Jesus Christ and His finished work as much as you do. Your words helped us stay mentally and emotionally anchored to God’s great love and sovereignty. His Word is, was, and will always be the final say.
