Problems Supernaturally Resolved After Resting in God

I went through a divorce that was finalized last year. I had suicidal thoughts during this period. My work and income were affected. Bills mounted and debts grew. I lost confidence in myself and lost direction for my life.

On top of that, I couldn’t sleep properly at night. I was constantly worrying about my debts, work, and family. I had no peace during my sleep. I felt so alone. I tried attending church services and listening to sermons, but my situation remained unchanged.

One morning, I woke up feeling tired. I was working from home, and my body and mind could not function. I tried to lie down and take a short rest but my mind just could not stop thinking about my problems. I took out my phone, opened the podcast app, and listened to Pastor Prince’s audio podcast. I dozed off while listening and woke up about 40 minutes later.

It was the deepest, most peaceful sleep I had in months. I woke up feeling fresh, which was something I hadn’t experienced for a long time. I felt good! But that was not all. I checked my phone and realized that my three issues had been solved!

A difficult client texted me to say she was finally okay to proceed with a proposal we had worked on. I also received a very positive text from a potential client enquiring about a project I was working on with a potential deal-making offer. Lastly, I realized I had received a fund that was long overdue in my bank account. All these in just 40 minutes when I was having a deep sleep!

It may sound small to some, but it was something big for me, especially during this period. After hearing the podcast, I prayed, asking God to let me have rest, peace, wisdom, and discernment only because of Jesus. I also remembered Pastor Prince saying in the podcast that we should rest and let Jesus do the rest. And that’s what happened to me!
