Delivered from Deep Depression

Some years ago, I lost my house and vehicle after being cheated in business. I went into a deep depression and lost about 12 kg. I pulled myself out of every social gathering, which worsened my condition.

In my days of deep depression, I watched Pastor Prince’s television program Destined to Reign, and he was sharing on how there is no more condemnation for those who are in Christ. This really lifted me up, and I was in awe at his message about God’s grace. Growing up, I was never taught about this loving and gracious Jesus. I began listening regularly to Pastor Prince’s sermons and learned that as my heavenly Father’s child, He would protect me and provide for my every need.

One day, I surrendered my situation to Jesus and said, “This is not my battle. From now on, this is Your battle.” I was referencing the verse in Exodus 14:14—“The LORD will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”

From then on, the terror I felt disappeared drastically, and I began to enjoy life. I became addicted to listening to Pastor Prince’s sermons, and the Bible became very interesting to me and my family. I needed to listen to at least one sermon a day to keep me reminded of the magnificent Father God I have. Every time I heard a powerful Word, I’d share it with my friends on social media and many of them also happily received the metanoia word for themselves.

The Lord did so many more good works in my life. I gained back the weight I’d lost and made a lot of new friends. He also lifted up my business and finances and took care of my family relationships during the hard times. My Abba has also opened the way for me to get a new house and vehicle. I believe Jesus’ finished work on the cross has restored everything I’d once lost!
