I have always had a bad relationship with food. I would either overeat or go on extreme diets.

But after listening to Pastor Prince’s messages on health and how Jesus through the cross provides restoration for my health, I realized that it wasn’t my relationship with my body or food that was unhealthy; it was my relationship with God that wasn’t right.

So 2 months ago, I started on a diet the right way: with God. I started thinking differently about food and my health through prayer and my relationship with Him. In a short time, I saw results through the power of right believing, knowing that God cares about my health, and that He wants me to be happy and healthy. I learned to find my motivation from God, and not try to eat healthily by my own efforts.

The results have been nothing but pure grace. I haven’t just lost weight—the quality of my skin and hair has improved too. I am no longer pre-diabetic. My blood pressure and cholesterol levels are healthy. I have lots of energy, and I just feel much happier and more satisfied than food could ever make me.

I want to thank Pastor Prince for his inspiring messages and the Joseph Prince Ministries prayer team for praying for me. But most of all, I want to thank the Lord for being there for me in the smallest ways, like helping me lose weight, and in the biggest ways—enhancing my health and my life.
