I became a widow 5 years ago, and I’m raising my grandkids. I’m almost 65, and it’s just me and the 2 kids for everything.

We have an above-ground pool that we enjoy together in the summer. This year, the devil has worked overtime to destroy this family time. Things kept going wrong with the pool.

When we thought we finally had everything fixed and were trying to enjoy the water, the pump had a water pressure issue. While trying to fix the pump, the pressure sucked the pump’s lid down on 2 of my fingers. It felt like the ends of my fingers were being crushed. But the Holy Spirit told me to turn the pump off quickly. I did, and the lid was released.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of a devotion on the Holy Communion, so I quickly ran and got the Communion elements and sat before Jesus while taking them. Healing is my inheritance!

There has been no damage to my fingers, and my nails didn’t turn black or fall off. Praise You, Jesus, for taking all our afflictions on Your own body. Thank you, Pastor Joseph, for teaching us what our inheritance is based on God’s promises in His Word.
