Pastor Prince, I had been addicted to pornography since I was 18. I am now 62 years old. After I became a Christian in 1983, I continued to visit strip clubs, watch porn movies, and masturbate.

I kept asking God for forgiveness and to take away my desire for porn, but nothing changed. When my habits continued even after I got married, I hated myself. Eventually, I convinced myself to just get used to living with my addictions.

Later, my mom saw you preach on Trinity Broadcasting Network and read your book Grace Revolution. When she started confessing, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus,” she experienced a dramatic change in her life.

So I began recording your telecasts and watched your series on overcoming guilt, shame, and condemnation multiple times. I also decided to confess my righteousness in Christ just like you taught. I was very skeptical about it, but felt I had nothing to lose. So every morning, I would say, “I am the righteousness of God in Christ,” whenever I looked into the mirror. I would repeat the same thing to myself throughout the day.

One day, I was watching your series again and confessing my righteousness in Christ when all of a sudden, I felt a heaviness lift off me. For the very first time, I experienced what it meant to be free from condemnation—and my desire for pornography and masturbation left immediately!

It’s been more than 6 months since I was freed from my old habits. My life has been transformed and I feel free for the first time in 45 years. Praise the Lord! Glory to God! Thank You, Jesus!

Thanks be to God for leading me to your ministry and setting me free from my addictions. I pray many more people will be free from the bondage of pornography by simply confessing their righteousness in Christ.
