Healed of Chronic Back Pain

Pastor Prince, I had a pain in my lower back from 2001 after I gave birth to my son. I remember how painful it was after just sitting down for 5 minutes even on the softest sofa. The pain was worse when I sat for several hours in a car or plane when we went for our summer holidays.

Despite the pain, I did not consult a doctor. I was not taking any pain medication. Years later, when we moved from the United States to Belgium, I still had the pain.

One day, I was viewing your sermons on YouTube on my phone and came across you praying for the sick during a servers’ retreat. I downloaded that clip to my television to have a much wider view. You prayed mostly for the women who came forward because of pain on their tailbone or lower back, and even those who suffered trauma because of childbirth.

In my living room, I watched and listened carefully as you prayed for healing. I accepted your prayer for my lower back pain. After that, I continued my usual daily routine. A year later, I found out through an ultrasound scan that the cause of my lower back pain was a broken tailbone! I finally sought a doctor’s advice but he said there was nothing he could do to cure the pain.

Five months later during Christmas, I was sitting in my dining room and noticed that I did not feel any pain in my lower back! I said to myself, “Wow, this is good!” I checked it again by moving my behind from right to left with force on the dining chair, and I still had no pain! I did a final check by sitting on the floor and doing the same movements, and it was painless!

I was amazed and very happy that the pain was gone. I believed I was completely healed. For nearly 15 years I was suffering such pain, and I thought the pain would last forever.

Pastor Prince, I never understood the meaning behind Jesus’ death. I never knew the abundant benefits of His death especially for healing. I was 46 years old when this miracle of healing happened in my body. The miracle I received through the gospel of grace made me realized it’s not about religion; it’s about Jesus.

That year, I bought the most precious book, my holy Bible, and started reading it because I wanted to know and understand more about Jesus Christ. I also accepted Him as my only personal Savior and was baptized.

I praise and glorify the Lord Jesus for my complete healing through the gospel of grace that you have been spreading through your ministry. I pray the Lord will continue to bless you, your family, your ministry, and your church.
