Pastor Prince, I had been thinking of killing myself when your program came on the television while I was sitting in my motel room. I honestly felt unsure about you, but you were talking about what I was going through.

I had been suffering from intractable pain from neck injuries for as long as I can remember. I saw all the doctors and took all the pills. They knew something was wrong, but no one was able to help. I prayed and went to church. I got frustrated.

I signed up to get your free book No More Mind Games and received it after moving into my apartment a week later. I had been mostly homeless for nearly 2 years, staying in hotels when people would help me pay, but also sleeping outside, in my car when I had one, and in a shelter for a while.

I had been blindly fumbling from one thing to another, never feeling better. I read some of your book for a while to distract myself and was surprised at how much you were speaking to me, as if you knew exactly what I was thinking. It was a comfort, but I didn’t feel better. If anything, I felt more miserable because of the pain and hopelessness. I hurt my back the day I moved, reminding me that even with an apartment, I may never feel better.

The next day, I cried and prayed and struggled for the thousandth time to straighten my back and neck. After hearing some loud cracks, I sensed that whatever was irritating me near the base of my skull had been corrected. I was worried at first that it wouldn’t last, but sometime later, I still felt better than I could ever remember.

It has been a long road. This pain started before 2011. I almost killed myself in 2013 and didn’t even get the scans of my neck done until 2016. Maybe it is a coincidence that I watched your show. The TV that night even changed the channel itself. At first, I thought I had changed it and forgot, but then I realized someone had it programmed to go to the program before yours automatically.

Anyway, thank you for the comfort and understanding in such a dark time. Praise Christ that I am healed!
