I am a nine-year-old who would like to share about how Jesus had healed me of an ear infection two years ago.

I began having the ear infection every winter when I was five. The infection always caused my ear swelling and pain. My doctor would prescribe antibiotics for the infection.

When I was seven, I felt some pus-like discharge coming out of my ears while I was in school. This was the first time I had discharge coming out of my ears.

My parents took me to a doctor and we were told that it was a viral infection. As I was already on antibiotics for my ear infection, the doctor gave me an even stronger antibiotic.

By then, I’d heard some messages about healing. I also stood on verses from 1 Peter 2:24—“by whose stripes you were healed” and Galatians 3:13—“Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree’).”

So I believed that I was healed and did not take the antibiotics. My parents agreed with me and also prayed with me that my ear infection would be gone in Jesus’ name.

The next day when I went to school, I just stuffed some cotton balls into both of my ears so that the discharge wouldn’t leak out.

During that period, I was listening to grace-based messages daily on my MP3 player and even through the night when I slept. A few days later, my ears were completely healed when I got up! I put my fingers into my ears repeatedly to make sure that there wasn’t any liquid and praise Jesus, there wasn’t even a trace of any liquid in my ear! Since then, I’ve been healed of my ear infection.

This was the first healing miracle I’d experienced after listening to the grace messages. It encouraged me a lot to know that Jesus heals and all we have to do is to receive what He has done at the cross for us.

Now, I still meditate on 1 Peter 2:24, Galatians 3:13 and other verses. I also watch Destined To Reign on television. Thank you, Pastor Joseph Prince, for obeying God’s calling!
