Recently, the weather temperature dropped sharply, causing the roads and sidewalks to be covered with a sheet of ice. My husband and I went outside our home to scatter salt to melt the ice. However, I slipped on our sidewalk and landed on my tailbone. When I got up, I felt really sore and my wrist was hurting.

I thought about taking painkillers and anti-inflammatory medication, but remembered that I am healed by Jesus’ stripes. I also thought, “Why take painkillers if my spine and hip remain injured? I’ll partake of the Holy Communion instead and trust God for healing through Jesus’ finished work.”

After partaking of the Communion, I was completely healed! I went to the chiropractor for a check and he said I had been really “lucky”—nothing in my body was out of place and there were no signs of injury! I know it wasn’t “luck” but God’s grace through the cross and the power of the Holy Communion.

I’m so thankful for the gospel of grace taught and revealed to me through Pastor Prince’s ministry. Thank you, Pastor Prince. May God bless you.
