Healthy Baby Girl Born Despite Negative Sonogram Results
When I was about 20 weeks pregnant with my fourth child, we received some bad news. The doctor told us they did not see a nasal bone on the baby when they did my last sonogram. They sent me to a specialist who confirmed the results. We were informed that an absent nasal bone was an indicator of Down’s syndrome.
They suggested we do an amniocentesis test to check for chromosomal abnormalities. We did and waited 2 weeks for the results. Those were the hardest 2 weeks of our lives but through all the tears, we kept our eyes on His Word and promises.
Praise God the results came back negative for all possible chromosomal abnormalities! But the fact still remained that our baby did not have a nasal bone and would be born with a deformity. Despite this prognosis, we knew in our hearts that our baby would be okay and thanked God for being faithful even when we are not.
Well, on August 4, 2017, we gave birth to a beautiful baby girl! She was perfect, nothing missing and born with a full nasal bone. We are so grateful for all we have learned through your ministry, Pastor Prince. God bless you and your family!
