I had tried everything to quit smoking. Then, I read Destined To Reign Devotional and glanced ahead to the devotional on 31 May, and the Bible verse was Philippians 2:13. I would quote this verse every time I smoked.

One day, I lost the desire and the horrible craving to smoke and threw away my cigarettes. That was on 31 May—the date of the devotional (‘Lord, I Cannot But You Can!’) from which I took the Bible verse to meditate on a few months back. Praise Jesus for His deliverance.
