For many years, I struggled with alcohol addiction and depression that bound me in every area of my life. Despite being a Christian, I found it difficult to communicate with the Lord and constantly had thoughts to turn to alcohol to feel at ease.

Eventually, I cried out to God, yearning for healing. He met me instantly at my point of need by healing emotional hurts and pains in my life—root causes of my depression and alcohol addiction.

Today, I’m freed from alcoholism and no more depressed. I am experiencing the Lord’s peace that surpasses understanding. I have also learned that God waits lovingly to be invited into our lives so that He can restore us to righteousness through Christ.
