Offered Desired Job Within Two Months of Job Search

I migrated to Canada in September 2022 and had to find a job. Some people told me it was difficult to get the role I had before migrating as I lacked local experience. A few companies had even rejected my application because of this. I attended a few webinars as part of my job search, and some people told me to take up survival jobs and start with whatever role I could get.

But I chose not to and kept believing for God’s best to fulfill my heart’s desire. The most amazing part was that I never got stressed. I kept confessing, “I am the righteousness of God through Christ Jesus. God is lining up the right job for me. It’s not by my power or might but by the Holy Spirit’s power that I will receive my desired role with good pay.” I also kept meditating on Pastor Prince’s word for the year: “This is the year of rest and acceleration.”

I was deeply encouraged by the teaching about Jesus being seated at the Father’s right hand, and that because I’m seated with Him, I’m close to the Father. I kept talking to the Father with the assurance that He had already heard me. I also listened to a teaching from another pastor about “you already got it” and how God has provided for everything even before creating me.

Within 2 months of my job search, I got the desired role, all by God’s grace. This was in line with the vision my family and I used to confess daily. Another highlight was that I received the call for this job offer on my birthday, right before I could even ask God for it as my birthday gift.

I’m so grateful to God and for all He has done in my life, and I can’t wait to see how He will continue to amaze me. It was truly a year of rest and acceleration!
