Prayer For Job Answered Speedily

I had resigned from my job earlier this year due to poor health. Subsequently, I found an assignment that allowed me to work from home. The job was supposed to be available for at least four to six months but I found out on June 17 that I was no longer needed as the work had been completed. I was devastated as I’d made arrangements to pay my bills according to this job. Some of the bills were due the following week and I needed to find work quickly!

Feeling concerned, I called the prayer line at Joseph Prince Ministries to ask them to pray for me to be blessed with a job soon. Apart from wanting a good job that would be a perfect fit for the skills I already possessed, I wanted a job that would begin the following week and pay me the same or more than what I’d received in my previous job. Additionally, I wanted benefits and an opportunity to have higher wages if I were to be hired permanently. I also desired to be the only one interviewed for the job.

I knew it sounded crazy as it takes weeks and even months to find a job. On top of that, I had no degree to back me up. However, I believed that with God all things are possible.

On the same day I’d asked for prayer, I also called a temp agency I’d applied to in May to inform them that I was now available for work. The next day on June 18, I received a call from the agency informing me of an available job opening and asking me to fax my resume over. I was excited and thanked God even if I didn’t get the job or that it would not start the following week.

I called the ministry’s prayer line again asking that God grant me favor. After that, I received a call telling me to go for a job interview on June 20. Again, I called your ministry to pray for me.

The interview went so well that they scheduled a second interview the next day and I was offered the job on the spot! My prayer was answered! I was the ONLY one interviewed for the position! I will also be considered for a permanent position after working a few months and that means opportunity for higher pay rate and room for growth. On top of that, I began work on June 24, the following week! I was so excited and thankful to the Lord that I felt like screaming at the top of my lungs!

I don’t have any one in my life that I can trust to tell my concerns to for prayer but I thank God for your prayer team here in the US. No one in your team made me feel that I was calling too much or anything like that. I always received straight to the point prayer for the situation that I was dealing with.

God is the same in all areas and His Word never comes back void. I know that God heard my prayer the first time but in my situation, I felt like I needed to meditate on God’s Word and pray without ceasing so that's what I did and He came through big time!

Thank you, Pastor Prince, for your obedience to God in preaching His Word. I ended up seeing the blessing because I did not just know the truth in my head, but also believed it in my heart. It has changed my life!
