On January 2, 2015, I found out I would no longer have a job and I was given a month’s severance pay. My financial situation looked bleak. I called Joseph Prince Ministries for prayer support and fed off Pastor Prince’s Destined To Reign broadcast sermons every day. I learned principles from Pastor Prince’s teachings on favor and ordered a few of his CD albums to listen to throughout the day.

A few months later, the Lord’s favor began to show up in my life in a tremendous way. He took my one-month severance salary and stretched it through to May 2015, meeting all my expenses for those five months.

In April 2015, an ex-colleague introduced me to a position in his company and I was given a three-month contract to complete a project. This was a company I had always wanted to work in. It was not a full-time position but I knew it was the Lord’s favor that had set me up for this golden opportunity.

I completed the project by early June and my contract was put on hold. I was not worried as I continued to trust God for another opening. I found favor with the vice-president of another department. God used this person to open doors to two interviews for me. This person even called each hiring manager to give them verbal references for the jobs on my behalf.

To cut a long story short, I was offered another four-week contract, and at the end of July, I was offered a full-time position with the company.

I now work for a company I respect, doing work I enjoy with great co-workers, and receiving a benefits package that supersedes that of my old job. As Pastor Prince often says, Jesus not only answers your prayers, He over answers them! I believed God would open a door for a full-time employment but He exceeded my expectations! Hallelujah! Praise God! Joseph Prince Ministries has been a great blessing to me.
