I have been working at my company for the past 15 years but have witnessed people who came after me getting promoted. I was beginning to feel discouraged that I would never be promoted. After I raised the issue of being in the same grade after being employed for so long with the management, I was told nothing could be done since I was working at a branch.

Not long ago, I received a devotional titled Start the Day Expecting Good that had a declaration inside. Pastor Prince encouraged us to declare every day, “I am the disciple whom Jesus loves. I am the apple of His eye. Everything I do and touch shall be blessed! The Lord’s wisdom, favor, and provision flow mightily in and through me.”

I began to declare that over my life and family. Recently, I received a letter stating that I was promoted! Thank You, Jesus, for Your favor on my life and for blessing me. All glory to Jesus! Thank you, Pastor Prince, for allowing God to use you in such a mighty way to encourage His people.
