A few days ago, I was listening to your message where you showed a picture of a couple who was involved in a car crash and how God had miraculously saved them that day. After that, you made everyone declare that this year, no one will die prematurely before their time. Right when you said that, I felt like I needed to confess it and went ahead and said it out aloud.

A few nights later, as my husband and I were returning home via the highway we normally take, we suddenly saw an electronic board with this message: “Move over to right lane, oncoming traffic ahead.” Surprised at the unexpected notification, my husband changed lanes, right around a curve in the road. No more than two seconds after we had switched lanes, a car going in the wrong direction passed us. We were surprised that it didn’t hit us. A few seconds later, we saw half a dozen police cars on the chase trying to stop him.

We thanked God for His protection and headed home for the night. The next morning, we woke up to news that the driver who passed us had hit a police car driven by an off-duty police officer, just minutes from where we had seen him. Unfortunately, both the driver and the police officer were killed in the crash.

We are so thankful to God for His unmerited favor, love, and protection. God truly protects us and has us in the palm of His hands.
