I remember Pastor Prince talking about how we mostly thank God when we know He has blessed us but almost never thank Him for the times He kept evil away from us without us being aware of it. This made me remember something that happened some time ago.

My daughter, who was in her early 20s at the time, started having acid indigestion. At first, she took over-the-counter medication to help with her problem. As time went on, her condition worsened. She made changes to her diet, but nothing worked. She continued taking the over-the-counter medication for a week or so, but it was still ineffective.

I found information about a stronger type of over-the-counter medication and recommended it to her. I told her maybe she should try it as it might work better. But she never got to it as her acid indigestion stopped.

Some time passed, and I saw lawsuit commercials on television about this stronger medication and its potential to cause many types of cancer for those who took it. I couldn’t believe how close my daughter came to taking this poison and becoming sick or even losing her life. I knew then it was God’s grace. It was the Lord Jesus who stepped in to deliver my daughter from acid indigestion and stop any tragedy from happening.

My daughter is fine and has been. We know we’ve experienced a miracle in this.
