I was blessed to grow up in a loving Christian home and accepted Christ when I was six years old. However, I did not have a revelation of the gospel until I started listening to Joseph Prince recently.

In January 2012, God blessed my husband and me with a healthy baby girl. But I had gone through a very traumatic delivery in which I ended up with a severe tear and fistula (a hole in the birth canal). It was a very difficult time for me and I became depressed due to the medical condition even as we were celebrating the birth of our new daughter.

Three months after the delivery, I had a surgery to repair the fistula, but it made things worse as I had an abscess. I became even more depressed.

I knew that God did not want me to go through life with such a horrible medical condition. Still, I started to have doubts, thinking that I was perhaps being punished for my past sins. I was a new covenant believer living under the old covenant of law!

But God’s grace is truly amazing. He didn’t let go of me and kept tugging at my heart. He did not allow me to accept having the fistula, but instead, caused my good friend to introduce me to Destined To Reign and Joseph Prince’s daily devotionals!

When I first heard Pastor Prince’s messages, there was hope and freedom, and I knew that God wanted me to be healed! I began to see and enjoy the goodness of God by listening to the messages and reading the Bible, looking for Jesus. Over time, my mind was renewed. I changed the way I thought of my relationship with the Lord—one of me being embraced by His love rather than one filled with condemnation and unworthiness.

And by the grace of God, I am healed and have no fistula! Praise God! My husband and I are so thankful for God’s calling in Pastor Prince’s life and the message of grace that he teaches. I have never felt so loved by the Lord since hearing how good Jesus is! And that God is FOR me! We confess our righteousness in Christ and trust God for His blessings in our lives because of the new covenant!
