Severe Sciatic Pain Greatly Reduced After Hearing the Gospel
I went to the hospital in a tremendous amount of pain. I had a herniated disc that pinched a nerve in my back, which caused extreme sciatic nerve pain down my entire left leg. I could barely walk and was in tears. I limped into the hospital in desperate need of healing. They gave me a shot.
They brought me to an area in the hospital where there were numerous beds with curtains that could be closed around them. As I waited, the curtains were closed, and I saw a monitor where I could watch television programs.
I looked up at the curtains, and a huge cross appeared in the square pattern of the fabric. I couldn’t unsee it. It stuck out so boldly. In that moment, I felt ashamed. I knew who my healer was—Jesus—yet I didn’t believe Him for my healing. I didn’t think I deserved it.
I flipped through the TV channels on the small monitor and stopped when I saw a man speaking about Jesus. His name was Joseph Prince, and he spoke of a book with healing scriptures. He spoke about God’s grace, and I had never heard anyone speak so clearly, as if he were talking to me personally. I was glued to the monitor, listening intently. Joseph Prince had a profound impact on me that day, and his words gave me hope.
Over the next few months, I stopped taking my daily pain medicine because I didn’t need it anymore. My pain is now very minimal and getting less and less every day. I’m very grateful that Jesus led me to find such a wonderful teacher in Joseph Prince and his message of grace and forgiveness. I now trust Jesus for my healing and believe that one day, I will be completely pain-free.
