Recently, my son was lighting some wood on fire when the fire exploded and burned his face, neck, hands, and arms. It was terrifying. He was in unimaginable pain, and it broke my heart.

I knew the only way for him to be okay was through the healing power of Jesus. I prayed for peace and healing. At the hospital, the doctors told us he had 2nd degree burns, and it would take about 21 days for him to feel better. We were discouraged. We didn’t want him to suffer that long, and he was in football, so we thought this would set him back.

The first day was rough, and my son was very sad. He wasn’t sleeping well and even had a nightmare that he was burned up in a fire. I told him to play Joseph Prince’s Healing Scriptures while he slept. He started doing that on day 3.

The next day, we noticed his face and neck looked about 60 percent better. I was so happy. We continued to pray, and he continued listening to the Healing Scriptures every night.

He had a follow-up visit on day 5. I knew that was the number of grace. When we went back, the doctors were so impressed by how good his skin looked. His face and neck were completely healed by day 5. His fingers, which had the worst burns, still needed to be treated, but the doctors were hopeful it wouldn’t be long.

On day 7, we sent the hospital a picture of his fingers, and they wrote back to say they were healed. Praise God! He healed my son!
