Year Of Restful Increase

My daughter did badly in her mid-year examination, failing three main subjects. After that, we started playing Pastor Prince's messages in the car and as she listened to the messages, God transformed her. Her attitude toward studying changed and she started to place her hope and reliance on God. In her recent final year examination, her results for three subjects turned out to be above average in the entire standard. In addition, she received two awards for being third in class and having the best progress in class!

In one of your Daily Grace Inspirations, you taught from Isaiah 61:6–7, "And you will be called priests of the Lord. You will feed on the wealth of nations, and in their riches you will boast. Instead of their shame My people will receive a double portion. They will inherit a double portion in their land." We received this daily devotion the day we sold our investment property. Before we even put out the property for sale, God provided a ready buyer through a property agent making a cold call. The property was sold at a record price and we received a double portion of what we had invested!

My family was also greatly blessed after reading the book, Unmerited Favor. We claimed many Bible verses in the book and believed and received many blessing effortlessly. Early this year, I was asked to submit a project write-up for an award. I was unenthusiastic initially. Nevertheless, under my boss' instruction, I submitted the write-up to the organizer.

A month later, I received a notification that I had to attend an interview with the Permanent Secretary and Ministry Directorates. That day came and I prayed for God's favor prior to the interview. The interview was tough. At the end of the interview, my colleagues and I were totally overwhelmed by the negative remarks and thought that we would never win any award. Later that evening, I received a text message informing me that we had won the Distinguish Award (MOT Innovation award). I could not believe it and the next day I openly thanked God (in front of my colleagues) for God's favor and blessing.

It is truly awesome and amazing that what man cannot do, God can do. Thank you, Pastor Prince! We deeply appreciate your ministry.
